About Cindy Archibald, MA
Behavioral Therapist
As a behavior therapist, I focus on shaping desirable behaviors and reducing interfering behaviors using positive reinforcement and person-centered practices. I specialize in shaping socially significant behaviors including communication and social skills while working to diffuse anxiety, identify triggers, reframe negative thoughts, promote positive thinking patterns, and enhance coping skills and executive functioning. I believe in a patient, positive, client-centered approach using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and structured support to help my clients achieve their goals.
One of the hardest parts of therapy is starting, and I strive to support my clients by collaborating and creating an open, warm, and safe environment to promote growth. I am intentional about developing trust and connection with my clients and work to ensure the therapeutic relationship is purposeful and meaningful to their goals.
I love celebrating client successes and am continually inspired by my clients’ progress. My focus is to empower clients with the tools needed to navigate their challenges by shaping coping skills, applying behavior skills training and mindfulness, and enhancing executive functioning skills using positive reinforcement. I would be privileged to work with you and to celebrate your strengths while establishing strategies for behavior patterns so you can grow and celebrate your life.
